Since 2013 Antalis has been carrying out supplier due diligence – a pivotal pillar in our ESG strategy – with its own in-house platform. Antalis monitors the traceability of its Papers, Packaging and Visual Communication solutions distributed by our subsidiaries by screening and centralising ESG-related information provided by its suppliers, offering supply chain transparency to its clients and other stakeholders.
The market has evolved in the past 10 years and Antalis has decided to replace its in-house supplier due diligence tool with ESG assessment platforms internationally recognised on the market. We continue to evaluate our suppliers’ business practices in matters such as labour, health & safety, ethical and environmental matters. In addition, suppliers are asked to complete a bespoke self-assessment questionnaire, adapted to Antalis’ business activities, covering compliance matters such as timber regulation, certifications and use of chemicals. We expect our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and to apply best practices.
By training our employees on the proper use of these platforms, we aim to empower them to make informed sourcing decisions, contribute to supply chain transparency, mitigate risks and promote responsible business practices.
