How a paper artist crafted a Lexus using Curious Collection
To qualify as a master craftsman, or Takumi, Lexus engineers are required to demonstrate their dexterity by folding an origami cat – in their non-dominant hand – in under 90 seconds. For the Japanese car manufacturer to commission a model of their new UX 300e electric car in paper, therefore, is perhaps not quite so incongruous as it might first appear. The model car, complete with a paper city through which it cruises, features in a promotional video created by Lexus in tribute to Takumi craftsmanship. The paper car model was built on top of a remote controlled chassis, on a 1:10 scale and included over 100 individual parts.

Shivering Mountain Gin Case Study: Curious Metallics
When a group of people came together to open a gin distillery in the Peak District, they knew they would have to create something special to make an impact and thrive in this highly competitive and saturated market, and we're thrilled that our Curious Collection range of special papers is part of their success story. The distillery is located in the Hope Valley, at the head of which sits Mam Tor, known locally as the Shivering Mountain due to its geological movement and landslides. It is a location that creates the perfect elements and conditions for the botanicals used in the making of the choice gins; it also proved to be the perfect name and inspiration for the packaging of this new brand.
The designs and properties of your labels are vital - whether it be projecting your brand, communicating your offer or giving important organisational information. Antalis can help you choose the right products to generate the best visual impact but, equally importantly, function correctly during their required application. We offer a wide range of self-adhesive and one-side coated materials, with a choice of face materials and adhesive types for both conventional and digital printing.
The Paper Artist Collective's 2022 Charity Calendar
We are proud to support the Paper Artist Collective – a global community of artists with a shared passion for creating beautiful art from paper. Antalis has donated paper for the printing of the collective’s 2022 charity calendar.
