Prosecura is the high-quality security paper to use when producing valuable documents such as passports and Visas, certifications, bank cheques, tax and postage stamps - in fact for all printed item needing high security capabilities. The Prosecura range is guaranteed for use with laser printers and it has been specifically developed for data recognition technology or OCR devices (e.g. ID scanners used in the airports). An OCR (Optical Character Recognition) machine is able to read texts from printed documents and images, or barcodes from the magnetic strip of credit and ID cards, and convert those data into digital, searchable information. These Prosecura uncoated papers can combine various security features to assure your documents the best possible protection against tampering, counterfeiting and manipulation: from watermarks and UV-visible fibres, to chemical sensitisation, microprinted threads, or other special verification systems. Prosecura papers are compliant with specifications C and CCC (formerly APACS) for cheque printing.
