Pop’Set Ultra Red and Curious Metallics Rose Gold selected for the launch of two new perfumes by British luxury fine fragrance brand Memoize London

Memoize London Fragrance

Memoize London is a niche, luxury, British fine fragrance brand founded in 2016 by Holly Hutchinson. It is stocked by Selfridges in the UK and by other high-end retailers around the world.

For the launch of the company’s two latest perfumes, Ghzalh and Isla Rose, Holly wanted to find high quality papers to create packaging that would be representative of both the brand and the two fragrances.

Holly was originally introduced to Antalis’ Creative papers range when she attended the Packaging Innovations show back in 2014 and subsequently chose the products for the packaging of a candle project in 2015. This time round, she sought the assistance of Katherine Wilson, Creative Papers Sales Support Manager at Antalis. Katherine works as part of the Paper Specification Team who, dedicated to working with creative teams, share their knowledge and paper expertise with designers and specifiers across the country.

To support Holly in her decision-making process, Katherine supplied swatches as well as large sample sheets to Memoize’s Leicester-based packaging manufacturer, Nubox, so they could make mock-ups for approval.


The Solution

For Ghzalh, the rich, vibrant tones of Pop’Set Ultra Red proved to be a perfect match for the product’s pantone palette. Holly commented: “Ghzalh is a product that really needs to stand out and with Pop’Set Ultra Red we were able to make this happen. As well as being an excellent colour match, it’s a high-quality paper with an excellent finish.”

For the new Isla Rose perfume, Curious Metallics Rose Gold was selected. “Isla Rose is my most special new perfume launch to date. It is dedicated to my daughter and was launched on her first birthday. The paper had to be the best for this special perfume and Curious Metallics Rose Gold was the nicest rose gold shade I found on the market”, said Holly.

The Result

Holly was delighted with the results, commenting: “Katherine was incredibly helpful, and we are very happy with the finished products and proud to welcome them to our range.”

For Katherine, the project was an opportunity to follow through a luxury packaging project from design concept to completion. Katherine commented: “I really enjoyed working with Holly on this premium packaging project, which fabulously displays our tinted Creative Papers. Holly made great choices from the samples I sent and it’s clear the products selected perfectly represent the two new fragrances.


“I was in touch with Holly and the manufacturer, Nubox, through each stage of the design and production process and it’s great to see it all come together.”

Pop’Set Ultra Red

Pop’Set Ultra Red is part of the Pop’Set range of creative papers, comprising 34 bright, fashionable shades, all made with FSC certified virgin pulp. It is available in SRA2 and B1 sizes and in weights ranging from 80 to 400gsm.


Curious Metallics Rose Gold

Curious Metallics Rose Gold is part of the Curious Collection. The product’s subtle metallic shimmer is enhanced by the natural wove surface. It is available in SRA1, SRA2 and B1 sizes and in weights ranging from 120 to 300gsm.
