Our Visual Communication Manifesto, the time is now

The effects of climate change are real and impactful. It is beyond time to address its vast challenges and reinvent our industry, for the better. That’s why at Antalis, we have embedded sustainability at the very heart of our DNA. For years, we have strived to minimise our environmental impact by measuring it and identifying innovative progress levers. We are committed to taking it to the next level by empowering our customers, suppliers and partners.

Our Visual Communication division works day in and day out to develop a more responsible industry. Even though the visual communication market accounts for 1% of global plastic consumption, we’re fully conscious of the urgent need to curb plastic dependency and inspire more responsible consumption practices. It’s vital since over 380 million tons of plastic are produced every year, and some reports indicate that up to 50% of that is for single-use purposes.

Antalis understands the critical role we have to play and we embrace the opportunity for positive change.

So how are we making things happen?

  •  We are deploying attractive and reliable alternatives to standard plastics through sheer innovation: PVC-free plastics, bio-sourced plastics and fibre-based materials. In other words, we are striving to create more virtuous product life cycles by firmly integrating circular economy principles into our business models.
  •  Positive change can only be accelerated collectively. This is why we see massive importance in our ability to empower our audiences by helping them make more responsible choices. It’s the purpose of our Green Star System™ - a user-friendly eco-rating platform.

Together with our teams, we strive to foster this responsibility culture and translate it into our daily practices. And we are determined to be part of the solution.

These words are also an invitation to manufacturers, suppliers and customers. Each one of us has a role to play to create synergies and make an impact. It’s the purpose of our Green Star System™.
