The customer’s challenge
Following relocation of production, partial components were being sent overseas via one-way shipping. The major challenge is that all packaging must be fully recycled on site. Corrosion protection also plays an important role, with the VCI film providing a humidity barrier.
The unfinished parts are stored in classic bulk packaging. This consists of a BRANOFOL M3 VCI film bag and a corrugated cardboard tray. Suppliers receive appropriate packaging instructions. This ensures easy handling and facilitates the recycling process.
The Antalis solution
Two dividers are placed on each pallet, separated by an intermediate layer. Everything is held together during transportation by the wraparound lid system strapped together with the pallet.
Our bespoke solution is designed to be fully recyclable. We created six components that can be placed in each divider.
