Antalis Extends Image Range of Papers

Antalis is extending its Image family with three new paper ranges: Image Indigo, Image DigiColor and Image Recycled. An own-brand family of uncoated papers designed to offer customers excellent performance and value-for-money, the Image collection is growing to respond to customer demand for media that are adapted to the latest digital printing technologies and environmentally-responsible, two key trends in the paper industry.

While the Image brand has traditionally been dedicated to end-users in an office environment, Image Indigo and Image DigiColor broaden the reach of the collection to digital and offset printers and copy shops equipped with digital presses as well as to corporate accounts with in-house digital capabilities.

Image Indigo
With the high-quality Image Indigo range, Antalis offers customers a broader choice of uncoated papers certified by HP Indigo. Image Indigo has been awarded a 3-star rating which ensures 100% Electroink adhesion. The superior whiteness of the product (CIE 169) is a further guarantee of first-rate colour printing and high-impact texts and graphics. The variety of grammages (80 to 300 g/m2) available makes Image Indigo adapted to a wealth of applications including:
o Digital imaging: photo books, personalised calendars…
o Digital communication: brochures, catalogues, newsletters, calendars, greeting cards, invitations, menus…
o Digital publishing: books, manuals…

To provide printers with maximum versatility, the product has also been designed to be compatible with offset printing presses. Image Indigo is FSC-certified.

Image DigiColor
Image DigiColor is a range of uncoated paper designed for high-quality digital printing on colour laser digital presses from brands such as Canon, Kodak, Konica Minolta, Ricoh and Xerox. The range is suitable for printers and copy shops, as well as end-users for quality colour laser printing in an office environment.
Available in A4, A3 and SRA3 formats and grammages from 80 to 350 g/m2, the range offers excellent colour reproduction and high-grade whiteness (CIE 168) to provide sharp contrasts. It has an extra smooth surface ensuring that toner transfer is perfectly even, and sheet formation has been optimized to deliver consistent printouts from the first to the last printed page. In keeping with Antalis’s commitment to supporting sustainable development, Image DigiColor is also FSC-certified and has attained EU Ecolabel certification.

Image Recycled
As its name indicates, Image Recycled is a 100% recycled A4 and A3 paper range that carries the EU Ecolabel. The range is available in 4 shades to meet all the requirements of customers working in an office environment:
o 2 “natural” hues: ISO 70 and ISO 80
o 2 “white” FSC-certified hues, namely:
- High White Blue Angel CIE 147
- High White CIE 160
In addition to the diversity of shades, Image Recycled also delivers optimized runnability, opacity and toner adhesion. These qualities together with the paper’s strong green credentials allow Image Recycled to combine excellent performance with environmental responsibility.
