ISO14001 Environmental Management
Environmental Policy
We have a robust environmental policy that governs our environmental management activity and have achieved ISO 14001:2004 certification in key parts of our business. The policy sets out benchmarks, encourages continual improvement and provides constant, transparent reporting on our progress.
The Antalis Environmental Management System, introduced in conjunction with Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), meets the requirements of ISO 14001:2004, and certification has been achieved at our head office in Coalville, Leicestershire.
Our objective is to improve our performance year-on-year and implement strategies and processes which measure our progress and provide useful feedback into a continuous learning loop. Regular reports are submitted to the Antalis Board to ensure that requirements are met and continual improvement achieved.
Key elements in achieving our environmental goals:
- Full compliance with all relevant legal requirements, codes of practice and regulations
- Encouraging proactive responses to government and other sponsored environmental initiatives
- Organising our operations to minimise pollution and disturbance to our neighbours and the general public
- Efficient use of materials and resources with particular regard to the long term sustainability of consumable items
- Establishing targets to measure the continuous improvement in our environmental performance in key areas
- Regular management reviews of the content and implementation of environmental policy to achieve continuous improvement in performance.
- Encourage the participation of our subcontractors, suppliers and clients in our environmental goals to improve our performance year-on-year
