Exhibition  Graphics & Build

Exhibitions are the ‘shop window’ for your products and services to prospective and existing customers. That’s why it’s important to choose the right substrates (materials) on which to print your displays, banners, product signage and other informational pieces.

Things to keep in mind:

  •  If you are going to be using the things you produce for your exhibition stand at more than one event, you need to consider the materials to be used as they’ll need to be more durable and longer lasting than those used only once
  •  Consider the way your stand will be constructed as this will also influence the materials you should use
  •  If your stand is outside, or partially outside, you’ll need to keep in mind the resistance of the materials used to direct sunlight, rain or other external influences
  •  The size and weight of your displays are an important consideration as you’ll need to make sure the materials you want to use are available in the sizes required, or if it is acceptable to use more than one piece per display
  •  How you light your displays also makes a difference to the material used, as it is possible to use substrates which have been specifically developed to be back lit, for example
  •  The various regulations that have to be met also need consideration when thinking about the materials you will use for your displays and other items on your stand. For example, there are products which are fire resistant and, therefore, meet the stringent regulations surrounding this aspect of participating in exhibitions
  •  Visual impact is of paramount importance in exhibition stand design and display and there are a number of substrates available to help you stand out from the crowd, including 3D, one way vision and those you can project onto
